Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp. in Shawinigan, QC is seeking a Stock Unloader Associate to support store operations by unloading trailers, processing merchandise and moving pallets to the sales floor, while maintaining a safe and clean workspace.

You will assist with stocking, help customers, label overstock, and adapt to evenings, weekends and holidays as needed to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and Unloading Merchandise: Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
• Handle and Move Merchandise Safely: Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Stocking and Customer Support: Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
• Overstock Organization: Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
• Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment: Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
