Walmart Canada is hiring for a Self-Checkout Attendant in Thunder Bay, ON. This role supports a positive shopping experience by providing friendly, helpful service and guiding customers through self-checkout transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will maintain a clean and safe self-checkout area, promote Walmart programs, assist customers with the self-checkout process, respond to EAS alarms, and manage Scan & Go equipment. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Respond to EAS Alerts and complete documentation: handle alarms per procedure and log failures to deactivate.
• Manage Scan & Go Equipment: ensure scanners are returned to designated storage after use.

Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and escalate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete DocumentationResponds to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately completes the “Failure to Deactivate” log.Manage Scan & Go EquipmentEnsures Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
