  • Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards – Maintains a clean, safe, and organized self checkout area, ensuring it remains free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and spills.
  • Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives – Supports the promotion of company sponsored programs, including credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives, when applicable.
  • Support Customers at Self Checkout – Helps customers use self checkout quickly and confidently by offering assistance when needed, monitoring activity, and completing required checks. Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and escalates cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.
  • Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation – Responds to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately completes the "Failure to Deactivate" log.
  • Manage Scan & Go Equipment – Ensures Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use.
  • Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) – Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

  • Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
