This role is well suited for individuals looking for an engaging position in customer service or retail while contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers.What you'll do...WHAT YOU'LL DOKeep the Produce Area Organized and ReadyKeeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.Check Product Quality and FreshnessRotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.Ensure Accurate Pricing and SigningMakes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain StandardsFollows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.Stock Merchandise and Set DisplaysStocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.Follow Health and Safety GuidelinesFollows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
