Responsibilities

• Keep the Produce Area Organized and Ready: keep the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
• Check Product Quality and Freshness: rotate products regularly and remove expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: make sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Standards: follow food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.
• Stock Merchandise and Set Displays: stock and downstock merchandise as needed, apply product protection when required, and set modulars to keep the department fully stocked.
• Follow Health and Safety Guidelines: follow all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
