Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Produce Stocker to support a fast-paced retail environment and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a well-organized produce area.

You will rotate products, ensure freshness, price and sign items correctly, follow food safety and cold-chain standards, and stock displays to keep the department fully stocked. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Produce Area Organized and Ready: Keeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
• Check Product Quality and Freshness: Rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: Makes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Standards: Follows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.
• Stock Merchandise and Set Displays: Stocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.
• Follow Health and Safety Guidelines: Follows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
