  • Keep the Produce Area Organized and Ready: keep the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
  • Check Product Quality and Freshness: rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: makes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
  • Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Standards: follows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.
  • Stock Merchandise and Set Displays: stocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.
  • Follow Health and Safety Guidelines: follows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
