What you'll do

1. Zone the department.
2. Rotate stock and check for expired products.
3. Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
4. Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
5. Follow food safety and handling procedures, sanitation, and cleaning protocols.
6. Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
7. Ensure the department is fully stocked and ready for business.
8. Follow health and safety guidelines.
9. Stock merchandise, pick, downstock if applicable, apply product protection when required, and set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
