This role is well suited for individuals looking for an engaging position in customer service or retail while contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers.## What you'll do...**WHAT YOU'LL DO** **Keep the Produce Area Organized and Ready** Keeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times. **Check Product Quality and Freshness** Rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality. **Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing** Makes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage. **Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Standards** Follows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates. **Stock Merchandise and Set Displays** Stocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked. **Follow Health and Safety Guidelines** Follows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment. **Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)** • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
