Job summary

Responsibilities

• Keep the Produce Area Organized and Ready - Keeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
• Check Product Quality and Freshness - Rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing - Makes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Standards - Follows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.
• Stock Merchandise and Set Displays - Stocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.
• Follow Health and Safety Guidelines - Follows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) - Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
