Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Sorel-Tracy is hiring a Stockperson / Cartpusher to support safe store operations, collect shopping carts from corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, and return them to designated storage areas using Walmart approved procedures.

You will help maintain clean facilities, complete required logs, assist customers with carry outs, verify receipts when needed, and follow safety protocols to keep teammates and shoppers safe.

Responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, and return them safely to designated storage areas using Walmart approved procedures.
• Ensure required logs are completed accurately.
• Respond promptly to requests from all registers and Customer Service, including assisting customers with carry outs and carry ins and verifying receipts for proof of purchase when required.
• Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance duties, including restrooms, while following established guidelines for chemical handling, proper disposal procedures, and safe use of power equipment.
• Adhere to all safety and emergency protocols, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines, to maintain a safe environment for customers and associates.
• Use required personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest, complete safety sweeps as required, and follow Company policies and procedures to support a clean, safe workplace.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

• Follow Safety Standards and Procedures
• Adhere to all safety and emergency protocols, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines, to maintain a safe environment for customers and associates.
• Promote a Safe and Hazard Free Work Environment
• Use required personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest, complete safety sweeps as required, and follow Company policies and procedures to support a clean, safe workplace.

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
