Job summary

Walmar in Victoria, BC seeks a capable associate to support store operations. You will unload trailers, move pallets to the sales floor, stock merchandise, and help prepare the floor for store opening.

You will work as part of a team to plan tasks based on workload, while maintaining a safe and clean environment for customers and coworkers. The role places a strong emphasis on labeling and backroom stocking, with duties including signing features, shelving, and assisting customers when needed.

Job description

Position Summary...To provide customer service by completing assigned tasks relating to receiving and the flow of merchandise through to the sales floor. This will be accomplished by unloading trailers, pulling pallets to the floor and assisting in the processing of merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.What you'll do...1. Preparing the sales floor for store opening2. The main differentiator between this role and day/evening fulfillment is there is a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in the backroom bins/stocking5. Label the sales floor for store opening8.
