Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an associate to support loading, stocking and merchandising activities at our Concord store. You will help unload trailers, place merchandise on the floor and maintain backroom stock with accurate labeling to ensure open times and a clean shopping environment.

Role requires customer-service mindset and ability to work as part of a team. This entry-level position offers hourly pay and opportunities for growth within a large national retailer.

• Experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening.
• Set, merchandise and sign features.
• Unloading of merchandise and live stock movement.
• Label and stock backroom bins/stocking to support store openings.
• Move pallets to and from the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Assist in stocking the sales floor as needed and provide customer service.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment and complete safety logs.

Position Summary...To provide customer service by completing assigned tasks relating to receiving and the flow of merchandise through to the sales floor. This will be accomplished by unloading trailers, pulling pallets to the floor and assisting in the processing of merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.What you'll do...1. Preparing the sales floor for store opening2. The main differentiator between this role and day/evening fulfillment is there is a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in the backroom bins/stocking5.
