Job summary

Walmart Canada in Abbotsford is seeking an Associate to support receiving and flow of merchandise from unloading to stocking the sales floor. You will help prepare the floor for opening, label features, and assist in backroom stocking while maintaining a safe, tidy environment.

The role emphasizes labeling and backroom stocking with opportunities to assist customers and contribute to smooth daily operations. A minimum age of 16 is required, with wage information starting at CAD 18.40 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe, clean environment by following policy and safety logs.

Position Summary...To provide customer service by completing assigned tasks relating to receiving and the flow of merchandise through to the sales floor. This will be accomplished by unloading trailers, pulling pallets to the floor and assisting in the processing of merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.What you'll do...1. Preparing the sales floor for store opening2. Setting, merchandising and signing features3. Completing live unloading of other types of merchandise4. The main differentiator between this role and day/evening fulfillment is there is a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in the backroom bins/stocking5. Pulling pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing6. Assisting in stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service if necessary7. Label the sales floor for store opening8.
