Job summary

Walmart Canada in Sault Ste. Marie is seeking an Over-the-Counter Associate who will assist customers, properly zone the area, and carry out tasks given by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager while maintaining exemplary customer service in line with Walmart's Basic Beliefs and values.

The role includes adhering to privacy practices, supporting department sales with direction from management, stocking and rotating products, and ensuring the area is clean, organized, and correctly

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Maximizing department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
• Zoning the department.
• Following proper procedures for: Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Keeping the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.10.
