• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: ensures merchandise is correctly signed and priced, handles ordering, markdowns, and labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices: adheres to food safety standards, temperature checks, dating, and proper handling.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products: takes orders and prepares deli items using slicers and ovens, fills display cases.
• Health and Safety Compliance: follows health and safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): open to varying shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays.

What you’ll do...

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Maintain Department Organization and Standards

Keeps the department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer‑ready at all times. Rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.

Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing

Ensures all merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.

Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices

Adheres to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration date compliance.

Prepare and Serve Deli Products

Takes customer orders and prepares deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken. Uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.

Health and Safety Compliance

Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)

• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.

Physical Demands

• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
