Walmart Canada is seeking a Meat Associate in Edson, AB to deliver outstanding customer service while keeping the meat department clean, organized and well stocked. Rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.Ensure Accurate Pricing and SigningEnsures all merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain PracticesAdheres to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration date compliance.Prepare and Serve Deli ProductsTakes customer orders and prepares deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken. Uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.Health and Safety ComplianceFollows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
