• Maintain Department Organization and Standards: Keeps the department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times; rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: Ensures all merchandise is correctly signed and priced; follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices: Adheres to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration date compliance.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products: Takes customer orders and prepares deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken; uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs; your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

• Physical Demands: Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.; performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
