This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, teamwork, and making a positive impact on every customer visit.What you'll do...WHAT YOU'LL DOMaintain Department Organization and StandardsKeeps the department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times. Rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.Ensure Accurate Pricing and SigningEnsures all merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain PracticesAdheres to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration date compliance.Prepare and Serve Deli ProductsTakes customer orders and prepares deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken. Uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.Health and Safety ComplianceFollows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
