Job summary

Walmart Canada in Winnipeg is seeking a flexible maintenance cleaning associate to support a structured cleaning program across store areas, ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment.

You will follow Food Safety standards, assist in cleaning Fresh Departments including coolers and freezers, inspect equipment and supplies, and participate in in-store certification programs while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Ability to follow Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Willingness to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with associates on cleaning regimens.
• Complies with Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and checks supplies.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing in-store certification programs and following company policies.
• Cleans floors using mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintains carpets in non-sales areas.
