Job summary

Walmart Canada in Niagara Falls is hiring for a maintenance cleaning role. The position focuses on executing a structured cleaning program, maintaining a safe and sanitary shopping and working environment, and supporting in-store safety certifications.

You will work with store associates to uphold food safety and cold chain guidelines while handling cleaning tasks across Fresh Departments, coolers, freezers, and fixtures. This role starts at a minimum pay rate aligned with local standards.

Qualifications

• Age – 18 or older
• Walmart Canada requires compliance with food safety and cold chain standards.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and carpet care.
• Attention to safety and ability to follow company policies.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with associates on a comprehensive cleaning program.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Performs timely cleaning of Fresh Departments, including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and maintains supplies.
• Promotes a safe working environment and completes in-store certification programs as required.
• Cleans floors and non-sales areas as part of routine housekeeping.
