Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Grocery Associate in Williams Lake, BC. You will provide exemplary customer service, maintain and zone the grocery area, and assist with stocking and the sale of goods.

The role focuses on ensuring shelves are stocked, properly signed and priced, and compliant with food safety and sanitation procedures. Training and opportunities to grow within a large retail network are available.

• Zones the department.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Ensures that department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
• Follows Health and Safety guidelines.
• Stocks merchandise/picks, Downstocks if applicable . Applies product protection when required. Sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and sets new shelf caps.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40.
