Walmart Canada is seeking a Grocery Associate to deliver excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized grocery area, and support stocking and sales activities. You will help ensure the store is ready for customers and contribute to a dependable shopping experience.

The role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow and develop in retail, while adhering to Walmart’s values, safety policies, and quality standards. Minimum wage starts around CAD 18.75 per hour.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain Grocery Department Standards: Keeps the grocery department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Stock Rotation and Product Quality: Rotates merchandise regularly and removes expired or damaged products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy: Ensures merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Food Safety and Sanitation: Follows food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Stocking and Modular Execution: Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business by stocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking as required, applying product protection when needed, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• POTENTIAL CHALLENGES IN THIS ROLE: High Task Volume in a Fast-Paced Environment
• Physical Demands: Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Physical Demands
• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
