Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a General Merchandise Associate at our Vaughan, ON store to deliver friendly customer service, stock shelves, and support sales across general merchandise areas.

You will greet customers, help with product selection, maintain a clean, organized floor, assist with stocking and merchandising, and follow safety guidelines.

The minimum hourly rate starts at CAD 17.75, with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed.
• Sales Floor Coverage and Team Support: Covers assigned areas of the sales floor and assists with Front End coverage when required.
• Merchandising, Zoning, and Recovery: Zones assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
• Stocking and Modular Execution: Stocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance: Maintains a safe, clean, and hazard‑free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
