Job summary

Walmart Canada in Mission, BC is seeking a General Merchandise Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain a clean, organized sales floor, and assist with stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area.

You will engage customers, help locate products, support decision making, and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an Excellent Customer Experience by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving customer concerns as needed.
• Sales Floor Coverage and Team Support by covering assigned areas of the sales floor and assisting with Front End coverage when required.
• Merchandising, Zoning, and Recovery by keeping zones clean and organized, moving feature merchandise to its modular location and processing recovery merchandise.
• Stocking and Modular Execution by stocking merchandise, completing downstocking, applying protection, and setting modulars and shelf caps.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance by maintaining a safe, clean, hazard-free environment and following policies, including safety sweep logs.

Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.Stocking and Modular ExecutionStocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.Safety, Cleanliness, and ComplianceMaintains a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
