Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a General Merchandise Associate in Edmonton to deliver excellent customer service, maintain a well‑organized sales floor, and support stocking and sales activities across the general merchandise area. You will help customers, locate products, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

• Zones assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
• Stocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and hazard‑free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.
• Manages overnight hours effectively and planning accordingly to stay energized and focused.
• Effectively manages work hours and plans ahead to maintain energy and focus throughout the shift.
• Handles a fast‑paced workload with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time.
