Job summary

Walmart Canada in Leduc, AB is hiring a General Merchandise Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, keep the sales floor organized, and support stocking and sales activities in the general merchandise area. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, promote products and services, help locate items, and coordinate with teammates to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

• Deliver an excellent customer experience by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and resolving or referring customer concerns as needed.
• Sales Floor Coverage and Team Support: Covers assigned areas of the sales floor and assists with Front End coverage when required. Communicates with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained and customer needs are met.
• Merchandising, Zoning, and Recovery: Zones assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Moves feature merchandise to its modular location and processes recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
• Stocking and Modular Execution: Stocks merchandise and picks, completes downstocking as required, applies product protection when needed, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance: Maintains a safe, clean, and hazard‑free work environment by following Company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.
• High Task Volume in a Fast-Paced Environment; Manages overnight hours effectively and planning accordingly to stay energized and focused.
