Job summary

Walmart Canada in Richmond Hill is seeking a friendly Front End Associate to greet customers and process purchases accurately at the register. You will promote sponsor programs and assist customers with bagging, while ensuring safety, cash handling integrity, and adherence to store policies.

You will guide customers on self-checkout and refer complex items to a Customer Service Manager. The role supports a positive shopping experience and customer loyalty.

• Promotes company sponsor programs, ie. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings..
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
