Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Burlington is seeking a customer service oriented individual to greet customers, handle purchases, and support a positive shopping experience.

You will process transactions efficiently, promote sponsor programs, assist with bagging, and help customers use self-checkout options, while maintaining safety and cashier integrity. This role requires a friendly demeanor, reliable cash handling, and adherence to company policies to support loyalty and store performance.

• Promotes company sponsor programs, ie. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings..
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
