Job summary

Walmart Canada seeks a Food and Consumables Associate to deliver excellent customer service and maintain the food and consumables area at our Winnipeg location. You will assist with stocking, signing and pricing, and help keep shelves organized and compliant with food safety standards.

The role supports everyday store operations, ensuring accurate temperature logging, cold-chain practices, and adherence to sell-by dates.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
