Job summary

Walmart Canada in Thompson, MB is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide outstanding customer service while maintaining the food and consumables area and assisting with stocking and merchandising.

You will zone departments, rotate stock, ensure proper signing and pricing, and follow cold-chain and food-handling standards to help keep products fresh and compliant. Hourly pay starts at CAD 18.05 with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
