Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide exemplary customer service and maintain the food and consumables area. You will assist with stocking and sale of goods and ensure shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and properly signed and priced.

The role includes rotating stock, checking for expired products, and following cold chain, thermometer calibration, temperature recording and labeling procedures. Minimum pay starts from $18.10 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
