Job summary

Walmart Canada in Summerside is seeking a Fashion Associate to deliver friendly customer service, stock fashion merchandise, and maintain store displays and signage. You will work as part of a team to plan daily tasks and seasonal arrangements, promote products, ensure a safe, clean store, and replenish items as needed.

The position starts at a minimum hourly rate of 17.45 CAD, and requires you to be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform tasks in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assists customers by promotion products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Processes and stocking all fashion merchandise.
• Keeps the salesfloor area clean and tidy for the customer.
• Merchandises non-modular fashion items.
• Ensuring proper fixtures and supplies are used and replaced if necessary.
• Uses proper signage as the modular dictates.
• Replenishes and merchandises seasonal merchandise in a timely manner.
