Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a part-time Courier to perform courteous pick-up and delivery on an assigned route in Windsor, Ontario. You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx standards and provide related customer service functions.

A valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required to support efficient operations. Preference given to those with experience in FedEx Canada operations, cross-border awareness, and strong time management.

• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Some knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

High school diploma/educational equivalent

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record

Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment

One (1) Year Customer Oriented Business Experience Preferred

Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training

Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset

Good interpersonal and communication skills
