Job summary

Walmart Canada in Maple, Ontario is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, picking, packing and shipping operations in a fast-paced distribution center. You will lift up to 50 lbs, wear steel-toed boots, and follow safety and company policies while helping maintain accurate inventory and timely processing of shipments.

Qualifications

• Age - 18 or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for up to 10 hours per day.
• Steel-toed safety shoes/boots required on first day.
• Safety gear may be required and provided by employer.
• For PDC locations, temperatures range from +12 C to -24 C.

Position Summary...

Responsible for the receiving, order filling and shipment of freight into and out of the DC.

What You'll Do...

• General Warehouse Duties including Load/Unload Trailers
• Must be able to work Picking, Receiving and Shipping area as business dictates
• Stock replenishing and restocking of inventory / customer product
• Maintain order filling performance expectation of the job function while maintaining picking accuracy.
• Adhering to all Operations policies and procedures.
• Maintain associate related programs and procedures, including health and safety and housekeeping programs in order to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and company policy.

Position Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to have steel toed safety shoes/boots for first day
• Other safety personal protective gear may be required as appropriate and will be provided
• For PDC locations only: working in temperatures between +12 C and -24 C on a continuous basis.

The rate of pay for this position starts from $25.34/hr.
