Job summary

Walmart in Calgary, AB is hiring for a Warehouse Order Picker who will prepare and pick orders not requiring full case packing. You will operate an order picker, stock replenishment, and ensure accuracy and quality to support internal customers.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, steel-toed boots, and adherence to safety policies. The position starts at 26.40 CAD per hour, with training provided and opportunities to grow within the store operations team.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day.
• Must wear steel-toed safety shoes/boots from day one.
• Other safety PPE may be required and will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Pick staple stock/breakpack freight on an order picker.
• Pick orders in Put/Pick area, ensuring quality and quantity.
• Stock replenishment and restocking of inventory.
• May operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) while duties are performed.
• Maintain order filling performance and picking accuracy.
• Adhere to Breakpack order filling policies and procedures.
• Follow health, safety and housekeeping programs as required.

Position Summary...

Responsible for the preparation and picking of orders that are less than full case.

What you'll do...

• 1.Picking Staple Stock/Breakpack freight on an order picker
• 2.Picking orders in the Put/Pick area, ensuring quality, quantity and supporting internal customer requirements
• 3.Stock replenishing and restocking of inventory/product
• 4.May be required to operation Material Handling Equipment (MHE) while performing duties.
• 5.Maintain order filling performance expectation of the job function while maintaining picking accuracy.
• 6.Adhering to all Breakpack Order filling policies and procedures.
• 7.Maintain associate related programs and procedures, including health and safety and housekeeping programs in order to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and company policy.

Position Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to have steel toed safety shoes/boots for first day.
• Other safety personal protective gear may be required as appropriate and will be provided.

The rate of pay for this position starts from $26.40/hr.
