Job summary

Walmart Canada in Calgary, AB, is seeking an associate trainer responsible for orderfilling non-conveyable freight and training new and existing associates on operational functions.

You will facilitate training programs, provide on-the-job support, and complete observation assessments while ensuring accurate picking and efficient pallet transport to shipping lanes. The role requires MHE operation and familiarity with Vocollect systems.

Qualifications

• Age - 18 or older
• Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for up to 10 hours per day
• Steel-toed safety shoes required on first day
• Other safety PPE provided as needed

Position Summary...

Responsible for orderfilling non-conveyable freight as well as train new and existing associates on operational function.

What you'll do...

• Exhibit desired behaviors that support Walmart Logistics basic beliefs
• Providing front line training to team members which may include:
  • Facilitation of class based training programs
  • On the job support in various operational functions
  • Completion of observation assessments
• Required to orderfill as primary job function.
• Required to operation Material Handling Equipment (MHE) while performing duties.
• Ability to use a vocollect headset and vocollect orderfilling system.
• Maintain orderfilling performance expectation of the job function while maintaining picking accuracy.
• Must be able to proficiently use as a part of daily activities the 5090 shipping lane computers and TC70’s with the MM program
• Accurate transportation of finished picked pallets and other freight to shipping lanes
• Maintain associate related programs and procedures, including health and safety and housekeeping programs in order to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and company policy.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to have steel toed safety shoes/boots for first day.
• Other safety personal protective gear may be required as appropriate and will be provided.

The rate of pay for this position starts from $27.40/hr.
