Walmart Canada in Milton, ON is seeking a detail‑oriented team member for the Deli Department. You will zone the department, rotate stock, ensure correct signing and pricing, and assist with hot food preparation and customer service.

Responsibilities include following cold chain procedures, checking temperatures, keeping shelves organized and compliant with sell-by dates, and supporting deli and bakery display areas. Location: 1280 Steeles Ave E, Milton.

What you\'ll do...

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40.
