Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Burlington, ON is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining and organizing the Deli and Bakery areas. Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and products are in the correct location.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; prepping chicken with a rotisserie oven; and filling prepared side dishes for display areas.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by thawing and baking according to guidelines to ensure quality and visual appearance of bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Position Summary

A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
