Walmart Canada is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate in Bracebridge, ON to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining and stocking the Deli and Bakery areas. You will assist with zoning shelves, rotating stock, pricing, and following cold chain and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include preparing deli and bakery items and handling orders to support daily sales. The role involves accurate thawing and baking procedures, labeling, and price/signage accuracy to ensure product

• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Position Summary

A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

What You\'ll Do

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40.
