Job summary

Walmart Canada in Hanover, ON is hiring a Day Remodel Associate to support remodeling efforts. You will work with the Remodel Lead to set standards, complete modulars, and assist customers while maintaining high-ticket merchandise security during and after department setup.

Responsibilities include stocking diverse departments, adhering to cold-chain guidelines, aiding in shrink prevention, and constructing counters as directed. Role requires some construction-area exposure with PPE.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• Experience with stocking and merchandising is a plus.
• Ability to work in construction areas with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured in a designated location.
• Set modulars by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, and installing ESL/DSM where required.
• Stock multiple departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh.
• Follow cold-chain guidelines to maintain quality.
• Assist shrink prevention by scanning damaged/stolen merchandise promptly.
• Build new counters using kit sheets and move counters with proper equipment.
• Merchandise endcaps and side counters per standards.
• May work in construction areas, requiring steel-toed boots and hard hat.
• Provide exceptional customer focus by helping customers locate products and answer questions.

Position Summary...A day remodel associate works with the Remodel Lead and Day Remodel Manager to establish standards in newly renovated departments. They complete modulars, assist customers, ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured, maintains clearance zone, scans departments in the run up to setting the department and after setting the department to ensure proper in-stock.What you'll do...1. Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.2. Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).3.Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments4. Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.5. Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.6. Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.7. Move counters using the appropriate equipment.8. Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards9. May occasionally working in construction areas, and require steel toes and a hard hat.10.
