Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Orangeville, ON is seeking a Dairy/Frozen Associate to deliver friendly service, keep the dairy/frozen area clean and well zoned, and support stocking and sales. You’ll help ensure fresh products are available and the department is always customer-ready.

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards: keep the Dairy/Frozen area clean, organized, and properly zoned.
• Stock Rotation and Product Quality: rotate merchandise and monitor freshness and quality.
• Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy: ensure accurate signing and pricing; follow procedures for ordering and signposting.
• Cold Chain, Food Safety, and Sanitation: follow temperature checks, proper handling, rotation, sell-by dates, and cleaning.
• Merchandising and Feature Maintenance: support merchandising standards and promotions.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance: maintain a hazard-free work area per policies and guidelines.
• Flexibility: be open to evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

What you'll do...

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards Keeps the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Stock Rotation and Product Quality Rotates merchandise regularly and checks for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards.
• Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy Ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Cold Chain, Food Safety, and Sanitation Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Merchandising and Feature Maintenance Maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance Maintains a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, and by following all Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
