Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Dairy/Frozen Associate to deliver excellent customer service, keep the Dairy/Frozen department clean and well organized, and support stocking and sales activities. You will help ensure fresh products are available and the department is always customer ready.

The role emphasizes safe handling, accurate signing and pricing, and adaptability to various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Minimum pay starts at on-the-job discretion: 15.50 CAD per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards: keeps the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and properly zoned to be customer-ready at all times.
• Stock Rotation and Product Quality: rotates merchandise regularly and checks for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards.
• Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy: ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced; follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Cold Chain, Food Safety, and Sanitation: adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper handling, rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation.
• Merchandising and Feature Maintenance: maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.
• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance: maintains a neat, clean, hazard-free area by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, following policies and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
