Responsibilities

• Keeps the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Rotates merchandise regularly and checks for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards.
• Ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced; follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.
• Maintains a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, and by following all Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Manage overnight hours effectively and plan ahead to stay energized and focused.
• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.

Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy

Ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.

Cold Chain, Food Safety, and Sanitation

Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation and cleaning procedures.

Merchandising and Feature Maintenance

Maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.

Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance
