Ensures safe work practices and emergency procedures are followed at all times, including proper lifting techniques, maintaining clean work areas, managing down registers, responding to emergency codes, and supporting theft prevention and evacuation procedures.
Handles customer and associate concerns professionally, providing guidance and support as required to resolve issues and maintain a positive front-end experience.
Monitors Front End operations to ensure proper associate coverage, coordinates breaks, and provides support to outlying registers to maintain efficient customer flow.
Trains associates on systems and Company procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity standards, company programs and initiatives, discount programs, EAS processes, and safety requirements.
Oversees purchase, return, and exchange transactions, provides approvals when required, assists with correcting errors, and verifies processes are followed in accordance with Company guidelines.
Ensures EAS systems are functioning properly by confirming cashiers deactivate merchandise correctly, greeters handle alarms appropriately, and “Failure to Deactivate” logs are completed accurately.
Prepares registers for daily opening and closing, supports cashiers by providing change as needed, maintains appropriate front-end cash levels, and completes audits to ensure register accuracy.
Oversees and promotes company-sponsored programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart Protection Plans, charity initiatives, and associate and customer discount programs.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.55.
