Job summary

Walmart Canada in Stephenville, NL, is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver exemplary customer service at the checkout, protect assets, and help customers with a positive shopping experience.

You will greet customers, process transactions, promote sponsor programs, assist with bagging, maintain safety and register integrity, and refer complex issues to a Customer Service Manager. The role begins at a minimum hourly rate of $16.50.

• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
