Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a cashier to deliver excellent customer service at the point of sale in Pickering, ON. You will process transactions, assist customers, promote card services, protect store assets, and help bag and load merchandise while following safety and cash-handling policies.

This role emphasizes strong customer focus, attention to detail, and awareness of surroundings to prevent losses. Minimum age is 16 or older; experience with a POS system is a plus.

• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
