Job summary

Walmart Canada in Kelowna is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver outstanding customer service at the checkout and to safeguard store assets with careful cash handling. You will help bag and load purchases, promote store programs, and ensure a clean, safe work environment while supporting loss-prevention efforts.

This entry-level role starts at $18.40 per hour and offers opportunities to learn retail operations and work with a diverse team.

• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
