Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Cashier in Brampton to deliver exemplary customer service at the checkout and assist with bagging and loading. The role emphasizes accuracy in cash handling, safety and adherence to EAS program requirements.

You will greet customers, process transactions, promote sponsor programs, and refer complex items to a Customer Service Manager as needed. The position starts at a minimum hourly rate of CAD 17.75.

• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
