Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Bakery Associate in Alberta to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining the Bakery Department. You will stock, price, and present baked goods, follow safety guidelines, and prepare products according to standard procedures.

The role supports daily operations in-store and requires adherence to quality and sanitation standards. This position is based on-site in Stettler, AB.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise.
• Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business.
• Ensure merchandise is signed and priced.
• Adhere to cold chain, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and food handling.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing, and pricing labels.
• Prepare bakery merchandise according to thawing and baking guidelines.
• Ensure displays are secured in a safe manner.
